Co-founded by a team of 2 LUMS graduates, KalPay is an upcoming Shariah Compliant buy now pay later fintech startup, based out of Plan9 Lahore.
The main idea behind it is to give consumers especially the unbanked and underbanked population the option of paying later while purchasing items online and in physical stores, through the option of paying in 4 equal
installments with a 2-week gap in between, or paying the lump sum amount within 14 days of
purchase. All this with 0% interest and no additional costs or charges.
Our mission is to play a vital role in financial inclusion by fashioning
an effortless payment and shopping experience.

CEO & Co-FounderAn Accounting and Finance graduate from LUMS. He is passionate about finance and developments and disruptions taking place in the industry through FinTech both internationally and in Pakistan. He hopes to lead the KalPay team to success through hardwork and experience
Waleed Amjad
COO & Co-FounderWaleed has graduated from LUMS with a double major in Accounting & Finance. He enjoys devising and implementing strategies to improve operations. He utilizes his creative flair to bring out of the box solutions. Being in several leadership roles, he brings valuable guidance towards ensuring that KalPay sails smoothly in its journey.
